Update: Statement from Johnson & Johnson on gluten status of Calpol

Calpol Infant and SixPlus paracetamol suspensions do not contain gluten.

In response to our member queries about the gluten status of Calpol, we can now confirm that all the ingredients used in Calpol Infant and SixPlus paracetamol suspensions do not contain gluten.

Johnson & Johnson statement:

‘We can confirm that all the ingredients used in Calpol Infant and SixPlus paracetamol suspensions do not contain gluten. Therefore, Calpol paracetamol suspensions are appropriate to be given to babies and children with coeliac disease.”
