Peter Lamb tackles first marathon in support of his sister and Coeliac UK

The Virgin Money London Marathon this Sunday will be the site of Peter Lamb’s first ever marathon, which he is running in aid of Coeliac UK.

The 31 year old Londoner, who hails from Islington, was inspired to run for our Charity after witnessing the effects of coeliac disease on his sister, who began her diagnosis journey last year. The family have found Coeliac UK’s support invaluable, said Peter, who stated: “I believe that [Coeliac UK] are making a real difference to the lives of coeliac sufferers, having been a massive help to my sister.”

At the start of training, Peter was aiming for a time of five hours, but his confidence has improved and his new goal is to break the four and a half hour mark. We are very grateful to him for his hard work and support, and wish him the best of luck both in smashing his personal best and reaching his fundraising goal of £2000.
