Coeliac UK strongly opposing South Norfolk CCG policy

Coeliac UK is strongly opposing the policy that has recently been introduced in South Norfolk removing access to gluten-free food on prescription.

We have been making strong representations to the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) on the issue for the last two months and so far have only received an acknowledgment. There has been no local consultation and we have written to Healthwatch Norfolk asking for support.

We’re also seeking the support of clinicians in the area and are contacting all Members that live in the South Norfolk area with information on how to oppose the prescription cuts.
