Coeliac UK strongly opposing proposed prescription cuts in Mid Essex

We are strongly opposing the proposed cuts to gluten-free prescriptions by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) in Mid Essex, which we’re concerned will leave vulnerable patients with coeliac disease without support.

Mid Essex CCG is currently consulting with local patients and carers about their views on whether to continue to prescribe any gluten-free foods in the area. The consultation runs until 28 December 2015 and can be found at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/HXZYMJH. We encourage all those who might be affected to complete the questionnaire to have your opinions heard.
